The City of Edmonton will be tearing up a parking lot (1.25 hectares in total) to build a downtown paradise in 2022-2023. The project vision, goals, and design parameters for the park were shared at a public open house in June of this year. In advance of the upcoming international design competition to develop a new park that is inclusive, imaginative, timeless, and designed for all seasons, we are hosting a panel of experts who will share their opinions on what makes a great urban park. Join us as we are inspired to think big about what this new space in the heart of the City can become. Networking, drinks, and appies before and after the panel presentation.
